Thief River Falls - Axel Jean Noreikis, infant son of Daniel and Kathy (Eggerud) Noreikis was born and died on Saturday, February 28, 1998 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 6 at Green Funeral Chapel in Thief River Falls with Reverend David Gens officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services. Mary Gens will be the pianist, and vocal music will be provided by Lisa Gens. Chad Halvorson and Tom Eggerud will be the casketbearers. Interment will follow services at Greenwood Cemetery in Thief River Falls.
Axel is survived by his parents; paternal grandparents, Sheila and Frank A. Noreikis of Warren; maternal grandparents, Diane and Jean Eggerud of Thief River Falls; great-grandparents, Ed and Myrtle Van de Streek of East Grand Forks and Florence Iverson of Belview; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Ray and Mary Drenthe, Oscar Eggerud and Halvor Iverson.
