Diego, CA - Memorial services will be held today (Wednesday,
March 31, 1999) at 1 p.m. at Peace Lutheran Church for Vivian Aaseby
Nelson who died on Friday, March 26, 1999 at the age of
87.
Vivian Jeanette Aaseby was born on November 2, 1911 in Thief River
Falls, the daughter of Iver and Olga (Gravlie) Aaseby. She graduated
from Lincoln High School and was also a graduate of Lee's School of
Cosmetology and San Diego College for
Florists.
In 1936 she married Walter C. Nelson at St. Paul, and the couple made
their home in San Diego, CA.
Vivian is survived by
one son, Ralph (Kay) Nelson of Palo Alto, CA; one daughter, Marsha
Jean (Eric) of Valdez, AK; two grandsons; two brothers, Palmer and
Ralph of Spokane, WA; and several nieces, nephews and other
relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter; one son, Kenneth;
six brothers; and six sisters.
