Thief River
Falls - Brandon Nelson, infant son of Shoan and Jennifer Nelson,
died Friday, September 29, 2000 at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester
due to com 
plications from
congenital heart disease.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, October 3, at Evangelical Covenant Church in Thief River Falls with Rev. Merrill Kindall officiating. Helen Dahlstrom was the organist, and the soloist was Laurel Johnson. Casketbearers were Brandon's uncles, Tony Fletcher and Aron Muetzel. Interment was in Greenwood Cemetery with Green Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Brandon Shoan Nelson was born on June 27, 2000 in Thief River Falls. He was baptized on September 24 at Evangelical Covenant Church by Rev. Merrill Kindall.
Survivors include his parents, Shoan and Jennifer Nelson of Thief River Falls; two sisters, Haley and Mariah; grandparents, Ken and Joanne Fletcher and Dennis and Karen Muetzel, all of Thief River Falls, and Ordean and Lynn Nelson of Roseau; great-grandparents, Harold and Alma Lillegard of Minot, N.D., Evelyn Dahlgren and Geraldine Nelson, both of Roseau, Joyce Matchett of Ephrata, Wash. and James and Val Fletcher of Moses Lake, Wash.; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Brandon was preceded in death by his great-grandfathers, Russell Dahlgren and Oscar Nelson.
