Detroit, MI - Adrian Morin, 93, died Tuesday, October 4, 1999 at St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital in Clinton Township, MI.

A funeral mass was held on October 7 at St. Paul of Tarsus church in Clinton Township, MI. The Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons funeral home of Sterling Heights, MI was in charge of the arrangements.

Adrian Morin was born on March 3, 1906 in Argyle, the son of Virginia Brossoit and Wilfred Morin. On February 12, 1934, he married Beatrice Goulet of Argyle, and the couple lived in Thief River Falls and Red Lake Falls.

In 1937, Adrian moved his family to Detroit, MI where he started Allstate Roofing and Siding Company which also included remodeling. He retired in 1974.

Adrian enjoyed fixing things; playing the violin, mandolin and keyboard; playing pool; bowling; playing cards; and spending time with his family.

He was a member of St. Lawrence parish for over 37 years, serving as an usher for 30 of those years.

Adrian is survived by two daughters, Beverly Stebbins of Clinton Twp., MI and Madeline "Madge" Hotchkiss of Thayer, KS; four sisters, Corrine Record of Crookston, Elizabeth Trudeau of Yakima, WA, Irene Langford of Albert Lea, and Orella Nelson of Baker; 14 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice;two sons, LaVerne Morin and Kenneth Morin; his parents; and three sisters, Sister Joan of Arc (Audellia), Mamie Rhode and Bertha Hanson. A00003B1999NV10
