Morben, 78Madison, WI - Robert Morben, 78, died Thursday, March 26, 1998 at Manorcare Health Center in Madison, WI.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Monday, March 30 at Gunderson Funeral Home with Reverend Ronald Fretheim officiating. Burial was in Sunset Memory Gardens.
Robert Morben was born on April 30, 1919 at Thief River Falls, the son of Obert and Mathilda (Zavoral) Morben. On May 2, 1942 he married Ardith Sevold in Kent, OH. Robert served in the United States Air Force from 1942 until 1945. He was employed as a machinist for 33 years by Ohmeda Anaquest.
Robert is survived by his wife, Ardith; two daughters, Jean (Jack) Ledford of Overland Park, KS and Diane (Karl) Bullock of Irvine, CA; four grandchildren; one great-grandson; four sisters, Maryann Myhrer of Thief River Falls, Janet Johnson of Bloomington, Marcella Schmeltzer of Stow, OH and Arlene (Ralph) Hove of Gig Harbor, WA; one brother, Thomas (Connie) Morben of Lakewood, CO; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Ernest and infant William.
