Mesa, AZ - Dorothy McEnelly, 77, Mesa, AZ, formerly of Huron, died Friday, February 21, 1997, in Mesa.
Dorothy Mae Noper was born August 6, 1919, to Valasco and Ruby (Moore) Noper at Thief River Falls. She graduated from high school in Thief River Falls in 1936. On January 21, 1939, she married C.J. "Mick" McEnelly. They moved to Huron in 1945. In 1956, they purchased Schultz Coal and Feed Yard. In 1966, they expanded their business, naming it Mick's Milling Inc. at that time. They retired in 1977 and divided their time between Huron and Mesa.
She is survived by a son, John (Alexis) of Huron; a daughter, Pam (Rollie) Kludt of Watertown; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; a brother, Randall Noper of Thief River Falls; and a sister, Marilyn (Bruce) Harding of Lynchburg, VA.
She was preceded in death by her husband December 8, 1983 and her parents.
Memorials should be designated to the local hospice in Thief River Falls.
