Brooks - Willard C. Mattison, 74, died Friday, July 21, 2000 at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Red Lake Falls.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, July 29 at 10 a.m. at Johnson Funeral Service in Red Lake Falls with Rev. Lloyd Wallace officiating. Burial will be in Emardville Cemetery near Plummer.
Visitation will be held for one hour prior to services.
Willard Conrad Mattison was born on September 14, 1925 in Chisholm, the son of Ollie and Alpha (Olson) Mattison. He spent most of his life in Red Lake county near Brooks, farming and helping on area farms. For the past few years, he had lived in Brooks.
Willard was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Plummer.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Willard is survived by his sister, Marvelyn Burtwick of Grand Rapids, one niece and seven nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Gordon Mattison; and one sister, Betty Mattison. A00003B2000JL26
