9/8 Obit LukeshSt. Hilaire - Jamie Anderson Lukesh, 22, died Tuesday, August 31, 1999 following an accident in St. Hilaire.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 4 at Sand Valley Lutheran Church in Trail with Reverend Robert Rains officiating. Cindy Bjerklie was the organist, and vocal music was provided by Jason Magnell. Casketbearers were Gerald Anderson, Oscar "Bud" Corneillie, Robert Latraille, Pete Skaro and Ronald White. Burial was in Valle Cemetery in Chester township of Polk county.

Jamie Marie Anderson was born on October 15, 1976 in Grafton, ND, the daughter of Wayne Skaro and Jean (Anderson) Johnson. She grew up and attended school in Grafton. After living in Detroit Lakes for a year, she moved to East Grand Forks in 1986. Her daughter, Alyssa was born in 1994, and Jamie then lived on the Air Force base in Sedelia, MO for about a year. In 1996, she moved to Thief River Falls.

She was formerly employed at Arctic Cat and currently worked at Hardees in Thief River Falls.

Jamie is survived by her daughter, Alyssa Marie of Warrensburg, MO; mother, Jean Johnson of Gully; father, Wayne Skaro of Grand Forks, ND; stepfather, David Corneillie of Thief River Falls; stepfather, Rodney Johnson of Gully; two stepsisters, Karie Marie and Katie Lynn Johnson, both of Bemidji; three brothers, Wayne Anderson of St. Hilaire, Bradley Corneillie of Thief River Falls, and Tyler Johnson of Gully; and two nieces.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Steve and Ellen Anderson and Harvey and Agnes Skaro; one sister, Brandi Faye; and one uncle. A00003B1999SP08
