J. Lonergan, 79Peoria, AZ - Walter J. Lonergan, 79, formerly of Plummer, died Saturday, February 28, 1998 at his home in Peoria, Arizona.
Walter J. Lonergan was born on June 2, 1918 in Plummer, the son of Walter and Catherine Lonergan. He attended school in Plummer. After graduation from high school he attended Dunwoody Institute in Minneapolis. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. After his military service he worked many years at Luke Air Force Base in Arizona and ran a business in Avondale. In 1957 Walter married Connie Perez in Phoenix. He retired and lived in Peoria, AZ until the time of his death.
Walter is survived by a sister, Mrs. John Schuiling of Bemidji; and a nephew, Walter Schuiling, also of Bemidji; and several nieces and nephews in California.
He was preceded in death by his wife and parents.
