Joy Lindbeck, 50

Thief River Falls - Joy M Lindbeck, 50, died Saturday, August 14, 1999 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, August 17 at Green Funeral Home in Thief River Falls with Reverend Mel Sich officiating. Carolyn Trontvet was the organist, and a vocal duet was presented by Mark and Audrey Hanson. Casketbearers were Dave Johnson, Paul Johnson, Rick Lindemoen and Tony Mai. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery in Marshall county near Newfolden.

Joy Marjorie Lindbeck was born on April 18, 1949 in Warren, the daughter of George W. and Edith (Lien) Lindbeck. She grew up and attended school in Newfolden. In 1973 she entered the Johnson Boarding Home.

She worked at the ODC in Thief River Falls and also worked and attended the DAC.

Joy is survived by two sisters, Sylvia Johnson of Pine City and Shelley (Pete) Mai of Big Falls; three brothers, Alton (Kathy) Johnson of Hamilton, MT, Gerald (Marcy) Johnson of Thief River Falls and George (Kim) Lindbeck Jr. of Victorville, CA; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Sydney Johnson and one sister, Judy Johnson. A00003B1999AG18
