Plummer - Buford Stanton Lawson, 62, died Sunday, March 16, 1997 at his home.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, March 20 at 10:30 a.m. at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Plummer. Burial will be in West Virginia at a later date.
Buford was born on August 3, 1934 in Myra, WV and has lived in Plummer for the past 30 years.
He is survived by daughters JoAnn Bowers of Topeka, KS and Betty Jo Lane of Philadelphia, PA; step-daughter Cathy Lineberry Etheridge of Pompino Beach, FL; mother Flossie Lawson of Branch Land, WV; sister Delphia Merta of Billingham, WA; brother Kelva Lawson of Selena, OH; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father Solomon Oather Lawson.
Memorials should be made to the American Diabetes Association in lieu of flowers.
