
Nelson - Paul Larson, 40, died Tuesday, September 21, 1999 in a traffic accident in Scott county near the Twin Cities.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 25 at Bethel Lutheran Church in Greenbush with Rev. Ernie Christensen officiating. Casketbearers were Matthew and Mark Larson, Allen Larson, Clyde Stephens, Mike Langaas and Scott Marthaler. Burial was in Bethel Lutheran Cemetery in Greenbush with the Gieseke Funeral Chapel in charge of the arrangements.
Paul Allen Larson was born on March 28, 1959 in Minneapolis and was adopted by Allen and Carol (Krinke) Larson on June 19, 1959. He was baptized and confirmed at Bethel Lutheran Church. Paul grew up and attended school in Greenbush. At Greenbush High School he played football, basketball and golf and graduated in 1977. He also enjoyed swimming. For two years, he attended Moorhead State University.
On June 23, 1979, he married Marsha Perry at Sebeka. He attended the University of Minnesota-Crookston and in 1981 worked in the oil fields near Dickinson, ND. Paul returned to Greenbush in 1982 and then moved to Thief River Falls where he attended Northland Community College for a year. He attended Bemidji State University for one year before moving to Warren where he resided for five years. For the past six years, Paul had lived in the Alexandria-Nelson area. He had owned and operated a professional bovine hoof trimming business for 17 years.
Survivors include his two sons, Matthew and Mark Larson, and their mother, Marsha Kezar, all of Thief River Falls; his companion, Barbara Morris, and her son, Travis, both of Nelson; his parents, Allen and Carol Larson of Greenbush; one sister, Patty (Peter) Fahnlander of Lakeville; two nephews; one niece; his grandmother, Dolores Krinke of St. Paul; and many other relatives.
