Lawrence Larson, 30

Newfolden - Lawrence "Larry" Larson, 30, died Saturday, August 12, 2000 as a result of an automobile accident near Newfolden.

Larson obit color Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, August 15, at the Evangelical Free Church in Newfolden with Rev. Gary Barrett officiating. Judy Hogberg was the organist, and the soloist was Diane Johnson. Casketbearers were Steve Krueger, Judy Krueger, Elaine Jenson, Ethel Lee, Donald Larson and Don Winand. Interment was in Opdahl Cemetery in New Maine township of Marshall county. Green Funeral Home of Thief River Falls was in charge of the arrangements.

Larry Larson was born on September 11, 1969 in Thief River Falls, the son of Lloyd and Donnis (Bolstad) Larson. He attended school at Marshall County Central in Newfolden, graduating in 1988. Larry farmed hay and cattle north of Newfolden. He also raised horses.

He had been employed as a welder at Arctic Cat on and off since 1989 and was currently employed there. He also worked at the fertilizer plant in Newfolden.

He enjoyed hunting and being an uncle, particularly enjoying his nieces and nephews.

Larry is survived by his father, Lloyd; four brothers, Robert (Marcy) of Mosinee, Wisc., and Bryan, Dave and Darren, all of Newfolden; three sisters, Ellen Latta of Newfolden, Dawn (Luke) Englund of Karlstad and Nancy (Alan) Molstad of Grand Forks, N.D.; and eight nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother Donnis who died on March 7, 1995. A00003B2000AG16
