Oklee - Gerhard Larson, 77, died Sunday, January 11, 1998 at his home near Oklee.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 17 at 2 p.m. at Salem Lutheran Church near Oklee with Reverend Robert Paulson officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday. The Petterson Funeral Home of Red Lake Falls is in charge of the arrangements.
Gerhard Larson was born February 17, 1920 in Red Lake County near Oklee, the son of Lawrence and Bertha (Larson) Larson. He was raised and attended school near Oklee and was baptized and confirmed at Salem Lutheran Church. He farmed and raised cattle near Oklee all of his life.
Gerhard is survived by one sister, Clara (Palmer) Wallen of Williston, ND; one brother-in-law, Roald Josephson of Ada; one uncle, Gunsten Larson of Oklee; four nieces; one nephew; and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Edna Josephson; and one niece.
