Cora Larson, 96

Warren - Cora Larson, 96, died Wednesday, March 12, 1997 at the Good Samaritan Center in Warren. Arrangements were with Quanrud-DuBore Funeral Home of Warren.

Funeral services were held Monday, March 17 at Zion Lutheran Church in Oslo. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery of Oslo.

Cora Sather was born on November 9, 1900 in Bigwoods Townnship, Marshall County, the aughter of Lars and Clara Sather. She was raised and attended country school in Bigwoods Township. She was united in marrriage to Hans. T. Larson on December 24, 1919 in Alvarado. They made their home in Alvarado and Holt before moving to Oslo in 1933. They ran the Larson Brothers Grocery Store and Locker Plant until 1945. In 1950 they bought a farm in Parker Township, Marshall County. Hans died on September 23, 1964.

She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, Legion Auxiliary and the Gold Star Mothers. She loved to garden and work with flowers.

She is survived by daughters Adeloyde (Carl) Johnson of Oslo, and Junieve (Dr. Jim) Lund of Los Gatos, CA; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister Florence Nabben of Thief River Falls; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband; son Myers; sisters Mary Melo and Amy Larson; and brothers Albin and Leo.
