Adeline Larson, 73

Donaldson - Adeline Larson, 73, died Monday, December 20, 1999 at the Karlstad Memorial Nursing Center in Karlstad.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, December 23 at St. Olaf's Lutheran Church in Donaldson with Rev. Carl M. Seamon officiating. Marlys Nelson was the organist, and Shawn Collins was the vocalist. Interment was in Hillcrest Cemetery in Donaldson. The Collins Funeral Home of Karlstad was in charge of the arrangements.

Adeline Luella Olson was born on December 12, 1926 at Strandquist, the daughter of Erick and Mabel (Johnson) Olson. She attended school and grew up in Strandquist and was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith.

On June 6, 1944 Adeline was united in marriage to Robert D. Larson at Cavalier, ND. The couple made their home at St. Thomas, ND until 1957 when they moved to Warren. The following year they returned to St. Thomas where they lived until 1964. They then moved to St. John, WA and in 1974 to Donaldson. Robert died on January 22, 1986. Since December of 1997 Adeline had resided at the Karlstad Memorial Nursing Center.

Survivors include five sons, Richard (Jannell) of Spokane, WA, James and Erick, both of Donaldson; Kim (Sherri) of Warren, and Greg (Sheila) of Kennedy; three daughters, Sharon (Glen) DeMar of Knapp, WI, Donna (Tom) Odegard of Seattle, WA and Arlene Larson of Donaldson; 22 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; her mother, Mabel Olson at the Hallock Nursing Home; one sister, Jeanette Johnson of Mountain Iron; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husband; father; one daughter, Shelly Swanson in May; and one brother in infancy. A00003B1999DC29
