Woodbury - Veronica Saatzer Kruger, 88, died Thursday, May 28, 1998 at the Woodbury Health Care Center in Woodbury from cancer.
Memorial services were held in Thief River Falls. Inurnment was in Oak Ridge Lutheran Church Cemetery, rural Thief River Falls. The Washburn-McGeary Funeral Home of St. Paul was in charge of the arrangements.
Veronica was born to Frank and Catherine (Rennie) Saatzer. She was united in marriage to Larry Saatzer was a homemaker in Washington.
Survivors include one brother, Clem Saatzer in St. Cloud; and four sisters, Eleanor Ahearn of San Pablo, CA, Lorraine Bettendorf of St. Paul, Marjorie Hill of Minden, NV and Bernice Krey of St. Cloud.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry in 1993; one sister, Yvonne Cordel; and four brothers, Ray, Eugene, Lawrence and Roman.
