
Hawley - Teri L. Knutson, 41, died Monday, November 13, 2000 at Meritcare Hospital in Fargo, N.D.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 18 at Hawley Lutheran Church in Hawley with Rev. Randy Whitehead and Rev. Merle Knutson officiating. Rhonda Laddusaw was the organist, and vocalists were John Schenck and Robert Mix. Casketbearers were David Thompson, Don Thompson, Curtis Thompson, Jim O'Meara, Michael Knutson and Jim Wagner. Interment was in Hawley Cemetery with Vigen-Wright Funeral Home of Hawley in charge of the arrangements.
Teri Lynne Carlson was born on September 6, 1959 at Thief River Falls. She grew up in the area and attended school at Marshall County Central school in Newfolden. She was baptized in Thief River Falls and confirmed at Newfolden. Teri was employed at Arctic Cat and the Thief River Falls Credit Bureau.
On July 10, 1982, she married Marc Knutson at Newfolden. The couple resided at Windom for a short time before moving to Hawley in 1984. Teri was employed at Ron's Super Valu before working as a paraprofessional at Hawley Elementary School. She was later employed at Silver Lake Co-op Oil, eventually going full-time and becoming the assistant manager of the convenience store.
She had been a member of Hawley Lutheran Church since 1984.
Teri is survived by her husband, Marc Knutson of Hawley; two sons, Shawn Carlson of Twin Valley and Ethan Knutson of Hawley; a daughter, Ashlee Knutson of Hawley; her parents, Shirley and Bill Wagner of Greenbush; birth father, Gary Carlson of Thief River Falls; and two brothers, Greg Carlson of Warroad and Brian Carlson of Kennewick, Wash.
