Edmond, OK - Beatta Knatvold, 67, died Tuesday, July 21, 1998 in Oklahoma City, OK.
Memorial services were held Friday, July 24 at 10 a.m. at Peace Lutheran Church in Edmond, OK. Arrangements were with the Baggerley Funeral Home in Edmond.
Beatta Mattson was born on May 7, 1931 in Thief River Falls, the daughter of Clarence and Justine (Anderson) Mattson. She attended high school in Thief River Falls and then attended Gustavus College for two years.
She married Harlan Knatvold on July 13, 1952 in Minneapolis. The couple moved to Edmond, OK in 1971. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her husband; one son, Edward Knatvold of Edmond; two daughters, Julie Carney and Nancy VanDevoire, both of Edmond; four grandchildren; and one brother, Robert Mattson of Thief River Falls.
