Frances E. Klassen, 90

İİİ Shakopee - Frances E. Klasen, 90, died on Saturday, August 7, 2004 at Friendship Manor Nursing Home in Shakopee.

Mass of Christian Burial was held on Friday, August 13, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Oklee, with Father John Kleinwachter presiding. Casket bearers included Danny Klasen, Fred Klasen, John Klasen, Richard Hanson, John Hanson and Bob Koepke. Honorary casket bearers included Annette LaCoursiere, Shirley Cyr, Joan Bronken, Betty Melby, Irene Dessellier and Eva Mae Bergeron.

İİİInterment was held at St. Francis Cemetery in rural Oklee.

İİİFrances Evelyn Brennan was born August 14, 1913 in Illinois to Henry and Elizabeth (Eich) Brennan. She grew up and attended school in Plummer.

İİİShe was united in marriage to Leo Bernard Klasen on November 27, 1934 in Plummer. They made their home on the farm in Lambert Township, south of Oklee. Frances worked as a homemaker on their farm and also at the Municipal Liquor Store in Oklee. They moved into Oklee in 1969. She moved to Shakopee in 1992 to be closer to her children.

İİİFrances enjoyed gardening and raising flowers. She was active in the St. Francis Xavier Church with her circle.

İİİSurvivors include, two daughters Mary (Gary) Baggenstoss of Blaine and Martha (Donald) Koepke of Shakopee; 12 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

İİİShe was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Bernard Klasen; parents Henry and Elizabeth Brennan; and several aunts and uncles.İİİİİİA00003B2004AG18
