
Thief River Falls - Audrey Kasprick, 68, died Friday, Sept.10, 1999 at Oakland Park Nursing Home in Thief River Falls.
Services were held at noon on Monday, Sept. 13 at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Thief River Falls with Father Dennis Weiland officiating. Kristi LaSalle was the organist, and special music was provided by the Resurrection Choir. Marie Nowacki was the cantor. Casketbearers were Brady Bjorgaard, Corey Bjorgaard, George Bjorgaard, David Moose, Mark Polansky and Gary Sabo. Interment was in St. Bernard's Catholic Cemetery. The Green Funeral Home of Thief River Falls was in charge of the arrangements.
Audrey Ann Ebertowski was born on July 31, 1931 in Warsaw, ND, the daughter of Joseph and Martha (Stoltman) Ebertowski. She attended school in Warsaw.
On November 9, 1948 she was united in marriage to Bernard Kasprick in Warsaw. The couple lived and farmed near Grafton, ND and then moved to Argyle. In 1953, they moved to the Viking area where they farmed in Viking township. Audrey also helped with the potato harvest in the area.
After moving to Thief River Falls in 1968, Audrey was employed at Land O'Lakes (Northern Pride), retiring in 1995. Barney died on July 29, 1999. Audrey has been a resident of Oakland Park Nursing Home since May 17, 1999.
She enjoyed sewing blankets, quilts and doll clothes and cooking and baking. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Audrey is survived by four daughters, Idelle (George) Bjorgaard of Inver Grove Heights, Ione (Gary) Sabo of Maple Grove, Marlys (David) Moose of New-folden, and Marlene (Mark) Polansky of Rochester; one son, Paul (Michelle) Kasprick of Thief River Falls; 12 grandchildren; three great- grandchildren; and seven sisters, Helen Gornowicz and Joanne (Steve) Slominski, both of Warsaw, ND, Evelyn Marshall and Isabel Juhl, both of Lakewood, CA, Natalie Huebner of Ontario, CA, Mary Ann Syvigny of Grafton, ND, and Martha Przybylski of Argyle.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; three sisters, Vivian Pasholk, Bernice Daucksavage and Staffie Tandeski; and seven brothers, Sylvester, Ted, Steve, Johnny, Max, Joseph and Hillary. A00003B1999SP15
