ÝÝÝTacoma, Wash. - Rev. Clifford S. Johnson, formerly of Grygla, died on July 20, 2004 in Tacoma, Wash.

ÝÝÝFuneral services were held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 31, at Philidelphia Church in Seattle, Wash.

ÝÝÝClifford was born on March 11, 1911 in Grygla, the son of Peter and Julia Johnson. His wife of 73 years, Clara, preceded him in death by 45 days on June 5, and they lost their son Lowell in Liberia, West Africa in 1949.

ÝÝÝHe is survived by one son, Clifford, Jr. (Carolyn) of Oak Creek, Wis.; daughters, Narsese Conrath of Tacoma, Wash., and Sharon (Bill) Olson of Salamanca, Guanajuato, Mexico; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Russell Johnson of Everett, Wash.; sisters, Gladys Jorgenson of Erskine and Doris Thompson of Broooklyn Park; also numerous nieces and nephews.
