Madrid, Iowa - Lillian Johnson, 85, formerly of Argyle, died Sunday, August 20, 2000 at the Madrid Home.
Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 25, at Alma Lutheran Cemetery, rural Argyle, with Quanrud-DuBore Funeral Home of Warren in charge of the arrangements.
Lillian M. Johnson was born on January 30, 1915 in Argyle, the daughter of John G. and Augusta Johnson. For the last 47 years, she had resided in Madrid, Iowa where she was the assistant administrator of the Madrid Home.
Lillian is survived by two sisters, Dorothy Kennedy of Mercer Island, Wash. and June Minzenmayer of San Antonio, Texas; and one brother, John "Al" Johnson of Maplewood. A00003B2000AG30
