Thief River Falls - Kali Johnson, 10 months old, died Thursday, February 24, 2000 at MeritCare Hospital in Fargo, ND.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 29 at Zion Lutheran Church with Rev. Dennis Raymond officiating. Ida Nordvall was the organist, and special music was provided by Lisa Simonson and Tiffany Sorenson. Casketbearers were Mike Beedy, Dwight Johnson, Kevin Johnson and Jerry Stenseth. Burial was in Holt Cemetery, Holt, with the Green Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Kali Jacqueline Johnson was born on April 13, 1999 to Krissy Johnson in Thief River Falls. She was baptized on November 28, 1999 at Zion Lutheran Church and lived with her mother, Krissy, in Thief River Falls.
Survivors include her mother, Krissy; godparents, Kelsy Rude, Desire Aehlert and Travis Johnson; grandparents, Dave and Shelly Johnson of Thief River Falls and Susan and Michael Burstad of Casper, WY; great-grandparents, Gerald and Marcy Johnson of Thief River Falls, Jacqueline Wing of Thief River Falls, and Barry and Sandy Wing of Minneapolis-St. Paul; two uncles; and many other relatives.
