
Warren - Shirley M. Jadeke, 62, died Sunday, November 2, 1997 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND.
Services were held Thursday, November 6 at 2 p.m. at the Grace United Methodist Church of Warren. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery in Warren. The Quanrud-DuBore Funeral Home of Warren was in charge of the arrangements.
Shirley Streich was born on August 17, 1935 at Grand Forks, ND, the daughter of Clarence and Louise (Quesnell) Streich. She moved as a young girl to the Radium area. She attended school in Radium and graduated from Warren High School in 1951.
She was united in marriage to Gordon Urseth in Grand Forks, ND in 1959. In 1971 she was united in marriage to Warren Jadeke at Warren. Shirley worked at the Good Samaritan Center in Warren for a number of years. She was well known for her canning, and she spent many hours knitting afghans for her family and friends. She also enjoyed woodworking and playing cards.
Shirley is survived by one daughter, Jolynne (Robert) Findley of Montgomery, AL; two sons, Jim Urseth of Blaine and Steve Urseth of Warren; two sisters, Margaret Dufault of Vista, CA and Kay Arnold of Garden Grove, CA; and four brothers, Glenn of East Grand Forks, Robert of Grand Forks, ND, Lyle of Garden Grove, CA and John of Taft, CA.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Lois Hartje.
