Minneapolis - Helen Omundson Jacobson, 94, died November 2, 1997 in Minneapolis. Four days later, Helen's youngest brother Oliver Omundson died at the age of 82.
A memorial service was held for Helen at Lakewood Cemetery Chapel in Minneapolis on November 4. On November 10 funeral services for Oliver were held at St. Mary of the Lake Church at White Bear Lake.
Helen and Oliver were members of the Ole Omundson family. The Omundsons were pioneers in this area moving to Silverton township east of Thief River Falls in 1904. The family lived in the area for several years.
