
Greenbush - Funeral services were held Friday, July 25 at 11 a.m. at United Free Lutheran Church in Greenbush for Hilda Jackson.
Hilda Jackson, 89, died Sunday, July 20, 1997 at the Greenbush Nursing Home.
Reverend Dennis Gray officiated at the service. Music was provided by organist Linda Berg and soloist Joanne Gunderson. Pallbearers were Perry Oien, Craig Spilde, Edward Dallager, Harvey Dallager, Kenneth Kolberg and Art Slawson. Burial was at Bethel Lutheran Cemetery in Greenbush. The Gieseke Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Hilda Christine Kolberg was born February 7, 1908 in Haug, the daughter of Christ P. and Caroline (Samstad) Kolberg. She grew up and attended school at Haug. She then moved to Greenbush and lived in the area her entire life. In 1932, she married Olander Vaage. Orlander died in 1953. Hilda was married to Arnold Erickson who died in 1977. On September 2, 1979, she married Adolph Jackson. He passed away in 1994.
Hilda is survived by two sisters, her twin Mildred Spilde of Karlstad and Cora Pederson of Vancouver, WA; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Palmer Kolberg and one sister, Judith Anderson.
