Seymour Iverson, 79

Thief River Falls - Seymour A. Iverson, 79, died Monday, September 25, 2000 at his rural Thief River Falls home.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 30, at Green Funeral Home in Thief River Falls. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Thief River Falls.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, September 29, and also for one hour prior to services on Saturday.

Seymour A. Iverson was born on January 6, 1921 in the old house on the Iverson homestead near Thief River Falls, the son of Torval and Selma Iverson. He learned to farm from his father and continued to farm the family homestead his entire life.

Survivors include a brother, Clifford (Mary) Iverson of Sunburst, Mont.; two sisters, Sylvia (Grant) Gregerson of Spokane, Wash. and Lorraine (Gerry) Stone of Anaheim, Calif.; and 18 nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Earlene Dietz and Joyce Blakely. A00003B2000SP27
