Lois Iverson, 63

Fargo, ND - Lois A. Iverson, 63, died Friday, July 10, 1998 at Dakota Heartland Hospital in Fargo, ND.

Funeral services will be held today (Wednesday, June 15) at 10 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church in Fargo, ND. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Fargo. Visitation was held from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home in Fargo and one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday. A prayer service was held at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Lois Braaten was born on November 2, 1934 in Wyndmere, ND, the daughter of Louis and Anna (Brekke) Braaten. She attended school in Thief River Falls.

On July 15, 1954 she was united in marriage to Eugene Iverson in Fargo, ND. Lois worked for Red Owl and later as a secretary at the Trades and Labor Hall in Fargo, ND. She also worked as the financial secretary for the Machinists Union. She retired in 1979 due to ill health.

Lois is survived by her husband; one son, Matthew (Dori) of Fargo, ND; one daughter, Tammy (Randy) Hanson of Somers, MT; three brothers, Calvin (Laverne) Braaten of Jamestown, ND, Arnold (Francis) Braaten of Minot, ND and Neil Brekke of Menomonie, WI; and three sisters, Clarice Cramer of St. Louis Park, Inez Puetz of Burnsville and Jean Lockrem of Kalispell, MT.
