Irving, TX - Hardy A. Israelson, 68, died Wednesday, November 3, 1999 at his home in Irving, TX.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Monday, November 8 at Rhoton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rick Meyer officiating.
Hardy A. Israelson was born on February 28, 1931 in Thief River Falls. He moved to Dallas, TX in 1956 where he was a pilot and later a captain for Braniff Airlines. He later became a member of the Silver Eagles. Aircraft he flew included the DC-6, DC-7, Convair 440, Lockheed Electra, B-707, BAC 1-11, B727 and B747.
Survivors include one daughter, Kandi (Ray) Morrison; one son, Hardy R. (Daisy) Israelson; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Burnell Netteland; and one brother, LaVern Israelson.
Hardy was preceded in death by his parents, Emmett and Agnes Israelson; and three sisters, Doris Seefelt, Anna Gillespie and Darlene Riddle. A00003B1999NV10
