Thompson, ND - Jason S. Hutton, 17, died Tuesday, September 9, 1997 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 13 at the Thompson School Gymnasium. Burial was at the Thompson Cemetery. The Amundson Funeral Home of Grand Forks was in charge of the arrangements.
Jason Stanley Hutton was born January 24, 1980 at the Grand Forks Air Force Base, ND the son of Thomas Jr. and Marcia (Hruby) Hutton. He was raised near Thompson, ND. Jason was a senior at Thompson High School where he was a member of the football and baseball teams.
Survivors include his parents, a brother, Christopher of Grand Forks, ND; a sister, Myste of Charleston, SC; grandparents, Thomas Sr. and Iris Hutton of Virginia Beach, VA and Stanley and Alice Hruby of Goodridge; great-grandmother, Hazel "Ma" Hutton of Virginia Beach, VA; and a special friend, Kayla Kollin of Thompson, ND.
Jason was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Admond and Lena Phelps and Ivan Hutton, Sr.
