Erskine - Arnold Hendrickson, 83, died Monday, December 6, 1999 at Pioneer Memorial Care Center in Erskine.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. today (Wednesday, December 8) at Pioneer Memorial Care Center in Erskine with Rev. Robert Paulson officiating. Kim Mahlen will be the organist. Burial will be in Zion Cemetery in Oklee. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to services only. Arrangements are with Petterson Funeral Home of Oklee.
Arnold Selmer Hendrickson was born on November 30, 1916 in Oklee, the son of Emil and Alice (Erickson) Hendrickson. He was raised in Oklee and attended school there. At the age of 10 he was hospitalized and has since resided in institutions. Arnold has lived at Pioneer Memorial Care Center in Erskine since 1971.
He always loved animals.
Arnold is survived by three sisters, Mabel Hestnas of Red Wing, Dora Rouland of Turlock, CA and Gladys Hansbrough of East Wenatchee, WA; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, William Henrickson, Alfred Hendrickson and infant Lloyd Hendrickson.
