Detroit Lakes - Vincent Fred Heggeness died August 9, 1997 after a two-year battle with cancer.
Funeral services will be held today, August 13, in Detroit Lakes. The David-Donehower Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Fred is best know from working at Family Bowl from 1991 to 1994. During this time, he teamed up with Merrill Piepkorn to produce "Prime Cuts" which was broadcast weekly on Saturday nights on KTRF.
At the time of his death, he was writing for Krause Publications and writing and producing for TV3 in Detroit Lakes.
