Clearbrook - Theodore "Ted" M. Halvorson, 99, died Tuesday, May 26, 1998 at the Good Samaritan Home in Clearbrook.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, May 30 at 2 p.m. at the Elim Lutheran Brethern Church in Clearbrook with Reverend Richard Walvatne officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. The Cease Family Funeral Home of Bagley was in charge of the arrangements.
Theodore Halvorson was born on December 15, 1898 in Gully, the son of Halvor and Ragnild (Rude) Halvorson. He was raised in the Gully area and attended school there. In 1941 he moved to rural Clearbrook where he lived and farmed until entering the Good Samaritan Home in 1992. He was a member of the Farmers Union.
Ted is survived by one sister, Hilda Johnson of Lake Zurich, IL and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Henry, Alfred, Knute and Peter; and four sisters, Rosie, Thone, Thea and an infant sister.
