Hibbing - Inez Hagberg, 70, died Sunday, August 15, 1999 at University Medical Center-Mesabi in Hibbing.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today (Wednesday, August 18) at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Hibbing with Reverend Lyle Rossing officiating. Casketbearers will be John Hagberg, Robert Hagberg, Joseph Hendricks, Walter Hellquist, Gary Verant, Dale Gannarelli, Elmer Smith and Steven Kjome. Interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. The Dougherty Funeral Home of Hibbing is in charge of the arrangements.
Inez Hellquist was born on November 8, 1928 in Rosewood, the daughter of John and Minnie Hellquist. She married Roy Hagberg on June 26, 1949 and had worked as as a nurse at University Medical Center-Mesabi. She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church.
Inez is survived by her husband, Roy; two sons, John (Pam) Hagberg and Robert (Lori) Hagberg, both of Hibbing; one daughter, Susan (Joseph) Hendricks of Kokomo, IN; two brothers, Clarence Hellquist of Hammond, IN and Walter Hellquist of Roseau; three sisters, Lydia Fox of Las Cruses, NM, Clara Boyd of Santa Monica, CA and Lorraine Campbell of Pass Christian, MS; eight grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
