Greg Gustafson, 46

Crookston - Greg Gustafson, 46, died Friday, May 19, 2000 at the Clearwater County Hospital in Bagley.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 23, at Cease Family Funeral Home in Bagley. A graveside service was held at 4:30 p.m. that day at Oakdale Cemetery in Crookston.

Greg Gustafson was born on October 5, 1953 at Crookston, the son of Willard and Shirley (Olson) Gustafson. He attended school in Thief River Falls. Greg entered the United States Army, serving from 1972 to 1974. He was stationed in Germany during the Vietnam War.

He attended the University of Minnesota, Crookston. Greg worked in Thief River Falls as a medic and also in Grand Forks as an ambulance driver. He moved to Los Angeles, Calif. and later to Phoenix, Ariz. where he was a computer analyst. He returned to Crookston in the late 1980s.

Greg is survived by his mother, Shirley Thompson of Avila Beach, Calif.; maternal grandmother, Elida Olson of Eagan; two sisters, Dianne (Loren) Francis of Bagley and Julie (Jim) DuRose of Baudette; two brothers, Scott (Sue) Gustafson of St. Cloud and Paul Gustafson of Crookston; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, maternal grandfather and paternal grandparents.
