Blaine - Ardys J. Growette, 74, died Wednesday, January 28, 1998 at the Camilia Rose Convalescent Center in Coon Rapids.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Monday, February 2 at Faith Lutheran Church in Coon Rapids with Pastor John Kerr officiating. Casketbearers were Jim Klug, Dave Klug, Michael Edwards, Tony Gross, Tom Whaley and Greg Schulander. Interment was held at Morningside Memorial Gardens in Coon Rapids. The Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home of Anoka was in charge of the arrangements.
Ardys J. Warness was born on October 26, 1923 in Karlstad, the daughter of Arthur C. and Ragna O. (Silnes) Warness. On June 20, 1945 she was united in marriage to Oliver C. Growette in Minneapolis. Ardys was a homemaker and a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Coon Rapids.
Ardys is survived by four daughters, Connie (Alex) Gross of Des Moines, IA, Lynne (Duane) Courteau of Dayton, Bonnie (Dick) Edwards of Rawlins, WY and Debbie Growette of Camilia Rose Group Home in Coon Rapids; six grandchildren; and three sisters, Elaine (Paul) Putnam of St. Augustine, FL, Ruth (John) Klug of Litchfield and Gail Anderson of Grand Forks, ND.
She was preceded in death by her husband Oliver on April 29, 1988; and parents.
