
Brooks - Trinity Goulet, 16, died Saturday, October 21, 2000 at a rural Plummer residence.
Mass of Christian burial will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, October 26, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Brooks with Father Tim Bushy officiating. Lorraine Mercil will be the organist. Casketbearers will be Justin Aakhus, Zack Sharp, Bob Jennings, Charles Rousseau Jr., Geoffrey Delong and Chad Horton. Honorary casketbearers will be all of Trinity's classmates. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in Brooks.
Visitation will be held today (Wednesday, October 25) from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 7:30 p.m. prayer service at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Brooks. Visitation will also be held for one hour prior to services. Johnson Funeral Service of Red Lake Falls is in charge of the arrangements.
Trinity Arthur Goulet was born on May 20, 1984 in Crookston, the son of Joseph and Josie (Adamski) Goulet. He was baptized at the Cathedral of Immaculate Conception in Crookston. He was raised in the area and attended school in Fertile, Crookston and Mentor. Since seventh grade he had attended school in Plummer where he was currently a junior. Trinity worked at the Shooting Star Casino during the summer months and since school started had worked on construction.
He enjoyed basketball, football, baseball, loud music and driving his car.
Trinity is survived by his parents, Joe and Josie Goulet of Brooks; four siblings, Lucas Goulet, Kari Goulet, Joe Goulet Jr. and Casey Goulet, all of Brooks; two stepbrothers, Bobby Goulet of Arkansas and Joshua Goulet of Stillwater; two stepsisters, Jennifer Yarbo of Texas and Jolena Goulet of Langdon, N.D.; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
