Bemidji - Rubie Frenzel, 63, died Monday, March 20, 2000 at North Country Regional Hospital in Bemidji.
Services were held on Thursday, March 23, at 2 p.m. at Tenstrike Community Church. The Snustad Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Rubie was born on January 20, 1937 in Englewood township near Mizpah. She lived in Thief River Falls and the Kelliher area until she moved to Bemidji about two years ago.
Survivors include three daughters, Deb Mike of Minneapolis, Sue Lindemoen of Newfolden and Cindi Crowson of Fairbanks, AK; two sons, Clifton "Kip" Shumway of Engelwood, CO and Rick Stokke of Thief River Falls; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three brothers, Bernard of Northome, Marty of White Bear Lake and Patrick of Bemidji; and two sisters, Darlene of Rockville, MD and Judy of Mandan, ND.
