
Warren - Myron Erickson, 71, died Saturday, February 22, 1997 at his home. Arrangements are with Quanrud-DuBore Funeral Home of Warren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 26 at 2 p.m. at Alma Lutheran Church in rural Argyle. Visitation was held Tuesday, February 25 from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service at Quanrud-DuBore Funeral Home. And also for one hour before services at the church Wednesday. Burial will be in Alma Lutheran Cemetery in rural Argyle.
Myron Howard Erickson was born on July 10, 1925 in Warren, the son of Arvid and Theresa (Hunstad) Erickson. He attended school district 12 of rural Argyle and one year at Strandquist. On January 25, 1951 he was united in marriage to Doris L. Wimpfheimer. In the fall of 1951 they moved northeast of Warren where they had a dairy farm. Myron retired in 1991.
He was treasurer of school district 12 at McCrea Lutheran Church, past president of the Farm Bureau, a member of the Middle River Shipping Association, 13 year member of the Marshall County Co-op Board, past DHIA member of Foldahl Township Board Member for 30 years. He was a member of the Alma Lutheran church and the TRF Eagles and he was the reigning king of P.O.L.K.A. Club of American, North Dakota Chapter. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He liked to travel, dance, hunt and fish.
He is survived by wife Doris; children Karen (Roger) Benitt of Holt, Carol (Thomas) Tulibask of Warren, Dennis (Laurie) of Warren, Allen (Dawn) of Argyle, and Terry of Warroad; 13 grandchildren; and sister Marilyn (Clifford) Bennett of Warren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers Vern and Arnold.
