Gordon Engelbert, 82
Boulder, Colo. - Graveside services were held on Wednesday, June 28 for Gordon K. Engelbert at Greenwood Cemetery in Thief River Falls. Gordon K. Engelbert, 82, formerly of Grygla, died Saturday, May 6, 2000 at Good Samaritan Nursing Center in Boulder, Colo.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, May 11 at Lafayette, Colo. with Rev. Dr. Clarence Snelling officiating.
Gordon Kenneth Engelbert was born on October 17, 1917 in Hazelton township of Kittson county, the son of John A. and Edith (Brown) Engelbert. He grew up in northwestern Minnesota. For many years, he owned and operated Gordon's Standard Gas Station in Grygla. In 1975, he moved to Boulder, Colo.
Gordon enjoyed family gatherings and especially visiting with children.
Survivors include two nieces, a nephew, several great nieces and great nephews, and several cousins, including Dick Bjorkman of Thief River Falls.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Gertrude Engelbert Duffield. A00003B2000JL05
