Warren &endash; Alice Edgar, 76, died March 23, 1997 at the North Valley Health Center in Warren. Arrangements were with Quanrud-DuBore Funeral Home of Warren.
Funeral services were held Thursday, March 27 at Zion Lutheran Church of Warren. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery of Warren.
Alice Ruth Olson was born on February 22, 1921 in Dent, the daughter of William and Mabel (Haugen) Olson. She was raised in rural Newfolden where she attended country school. On August 6, 1941 she was united in marriage to Earl Edgar in Newfolden. They lived in Thief River Falls and Viking before making their home in Warren. Earl died December 28, 1986.
She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and its Ladies Aid.
She is survived by son Wayne (Carole) Edgar of Brooklyn Park; two granddaughters; brothers Harlan of Thief River Falls and William of Newfolden; sisters Myrtle Dargus and Donna Landreville of Warren and Muriel Brunet of Minneapolis; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers Milford, DuWayne, Lester, Clifford and Gene; and sisters Edith Schires and Marlys Olson.
