West Dundee, IL - Lester Drotts, 52, died Tuesday, February 15, 2000 at his home in West Dundee, IL.
Funeral services were held on Friday, February 18 at the Evangelical Covenant Church in Batavia, IL with Rev. Mark A. Nilson officiating. Interment was in West Batavia Cemetery with the Yurs-Peterson Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Lester P. Drotts was born on November 22, 1947 in Thief River Falls, the son of Hans and Carrie Drotts. He was confirmed at the Covenant Church in Viking and graduated from Buffalo High School in Buffalo. He attended Northwestern College in Minneapolis and was a graduate of Trinity College and Seminary in Deerfield, IL. He was employed at Trinity College in Deerfield, IL, Covington Estate in Lake Forest, IL, Heritage Christian School in Milwaukee, WI. He was currently serving as financial aid director at Judson College in Elgin, IL.
Lester is survived by his father, Hans Drotts of Batavia, IL; three sisters, Rhoda (Al) Fritsch of Aurora, IL, Ruby (Gary) Hovda of Rockford, IL and Lois (Ken) Ross of Buffalo; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his mother and several aunts and uncles. A00003B2000FB23
