South Minneapolis - Albert Drotts, 90, died Sunday, July 12, 1998 at Bethany Covenant Home.
A committal service was held on Thursday, July 16 at 2 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Chapel. A memorial service was held at 3 p.m. that afternoon at Bethany Covenant Home. The Sunset Memorial Chapel was in charge of the arrangements.
Albert Drotts was born and raised on a farm in rural Viking, the son of Oscar and Hilda (Samuelson) Drotts. He moved to the Twin Cities in the 1930's where he continued to live the rest of his life.
Albert is survived by one daughter, Priscilla (John) Mizell of Lugoff, SC; two granddaughters; one sister, Ruth of Minneapolis; and two brothers, Hans of Batavia, IL and Raymond of Viking.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Alice, and his parents.
