Allen Donarski, 49

Argyle - Allen John Donarski, "A.J.", 49, died on Monday, April 7, 1997, at the Warren Hospital in Warren.

Mass of Burial was held on Friday, April 11, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Argyle.

Allen John Donarski was born on December 18, 1947, the son of John and Frances (Skrabala) Donarski in Warren. He was baptized and confirmed in the Catholic Faith at Assumption Church in Florian. He attended rural school in Wright township, Marshall County, and attended and graduated from Argyle High School, Argyle. He attended Northwest Vocational and Technical College in Thief River Falls. On June 3, 1967, he was united in marriage to Carol Ethier at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Argyle. The couple continued to live in Argyle where they raised their family. A.J. worked at various jobs in the Argyle area and was currently working at the Argyle Fertilizer Plant.

A.J's grandchildren were the light of his life. His hobbies included Triple 'D' Acres, A.J.'s spot, snowmobiling, hunting, fishing and especially ice fishing. He was a member of St. Rose of Lima's Church, Argyle Lions Club, Argyle Sportsman's Club, the Trailblazers and was a former member of the Argyle Fire Department.

He is survived by his wife Carol, Argyle; three children, Michelle Price, Roseau, Michael, Fargo, ND, Mark and his wife Michelle, Fargo, ND; mother Frances Donarski; two grandchildren; three sisters, Veronica Stanislowski and her husband Robert, Crookston, Dolores Kujava and her husband Harry, Newfolden, Florence Kuznia and her husband Emil, Stephen; one brother, Louie, Argyle; one uncle, Frank Skrabala, Alexandria; farther and mother-in-law, Melvin and Alice Ethier, Argyle; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father John, a brother in infancy, one sister, Ardy Westberg, and his step-father, Walter Donarski.
