- Sadie Danielson, 73, died Tuesday, May 2, 2000 at Pioneer
Memorial Care Center in Erskine.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 6, at Pioneer Memorial Care Center in Erskine with Rev. Robert Amundson officiating. Kim Mahlen was the organist, and Grace Hammer was the soloist. Burial was in Star Cemetery in Star township of Pennington county. The Green Funeral Home of Thief River Falls was in charge of the arrangements.
Sadie Otelia Danielson was born on May 10, 1926 near Erie, the daughter of Knute and Olga (Tofteland) Danielson. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith at Erie and attended Clovernook rural school.
She lived on the family farm in Star township of Pennington county and did child care in Thief River Falls. She and her brother, John, moved to the Gatzke area and later into Grygla. In 1994, they moved to the Greenbush Nursing Home and on March 7, 1995 to Pioneer Memorial Care Center in Erskine.
Sadie is survived by one sister, Clara Wells of Hythe, Alberta, Canada; two nieces and two nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Gladys Danielson and Bertha Johnson; and one brother, John Danielson.
