Dahle, 65Anchorage, AK - Erwin A. "Red" Dahle, 65, died Monday, July 13, 1998 at Alaska Regional Hospital in Anchorage, AK.
In accordance with Erwin's wishes, no services were held. His ashes will be scattered at a later date in Alaska over Mt. Susitna. Arrangements were with the Evergreen Memorial Chapels in Anchorage.
Erwin A. Dahle was born on December 27, 1932 in Goodridge. He served with the United States Air Force for 20 years, retiring in 1972 in Duluth. He went to work for the Office of Aircraft Services in 1977 where he worked until his retirement from that position in 1993.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Erwin is survived by his wife, Marilyn Dahle of Anchorage, AK; two sons, Jeffrey Dahle of California and Gregrey Dahle of Anchorage; two grandchildren; one brother, Simond Dahle of California; and three sisters, Ordella Haugen of Goodridge, Palma Anderson of Thief River Falls and Lillian Meitzel of Virginia.
