
Fremont, Wisc. - Rachel L. Cartwright, 4, died unexpectedly on Friday, April 28, 2000 at Berlin Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 1, at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Weyauwega, Wisc. with Father Bert Samsa, OFM, Cap. officiating. Burial was in Brushville Cemetery in Bloomfield, Wisc. The Lewin Funeral Home of Fremont was in charge of the arrangements.
Rachel L. Cartwright was born on May 4, 1995 in Waupaca, Wisc., the daughter of James and Karin (Tyler) Cartwright. She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Weyauwega. She was always smiling and hugging everyone and enjoyed talking to people.
Survivors include her parents, James and Karin; one sister, Kaitlyn at home; paternal grandparents, Bob and Rose Cartwright of Pine River, Wisc.; maternal grandparents, Dick and Mary Tyler of Thief River Falls; paternal great-grandparents, Werner and Clarice Kempf of Weyauwega, Wisc.; maternal great-grandmother, Ellen Mattson of Fargo, N.D.; one uncle, Mark (Julie) Cartwright; two aunts, Aimee Johaneson of Apple Valley who was also Rachel's godmother and Sara Tyler of Pierre, S.D.; and two cousins.
Rachel was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Earl and Vera Cartwright, Otto and Myrtle Tyler and Harry Mattson; and her uncle and godfather, Casey Johaneson. A00003B2000MY10
