Ingeborg Byklum, 84 İİİGrygla - Ingeborg Byklum, 84, died on Sunday, September 5, 2004 at the CNC Unit, Northwest Medical Center in Thief River Falls. Funeral İİİVisitation will be 4-7 p.m. on Friday, September 10, at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, with a 7 p.m. prayer service and for one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday. İİİIngeborg Johnson was born August 30, 1920, in Hamre Township, Beltrami County, the daughter of John and Thora (Tyrdal) Torjusson.She grew up and attended country school in Hamre Township. İİİShe worked at the hospital in Thief River Falls and also worked at a bakery in Grand Forks, N.D. and Milwaukee, WIS. İİİOn March 23, 1946, Ingeborg was united in marriage to Ole Byklum at the parsonage in Grygla. She and Ole farmed together in Benville Township and in 1967, they moved to Spruce Grove Township, where they farmed small grain and had dairy cattle.She worked at Land-O-Lakes Turkey Plant in Thief River Falls from 1965 until retiring in early 1980s. She helped feed the calves and helped with the milking until July of 2003. İİİIngeborg was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Grygla, and was active in the Ladies Aid and Sewing Circle.She liked to knit, crochet, garden and grow flowers. İİİSurvivors include her husband, Ole of Grygla; children, Linda (Wes) Skibicki of Thief River Falls, Orvis (Marilou) and Richard Byklum, all Grygla; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters-in-law, Bernice Sistad Tilda Byklum of Grygla; and several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. İİİShe was preceded in death by her daughter, Joan Diane Byklum; her parents; her sister, Tillie Sistad; brothers, Torjus and Saave Johnson and a nephew, David Sistad. İİİİİİİİİİİİA00003B2004SP08 |
