Mentor - Donna M. Brumwell, 69, died Wednesday, July 26, 2000 at Riverview Hospital in Crookston.
Memorial services were held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 29 at Johnson Funeral Service in Red Lake Falls with Rev. Gary Graff officiating. Sarah Brevik was the organist and soloist. Johnson Funeral Service of Red Lake Falls was in charge of the arrangements.
Donna Marie Lee was born on February 18, 1931 at Grantsburg, Wisc., the daughter of Oscar and Mary (Gyle) Lee. She was raised and attended school at Grantsburg.
She married Harvey Hedberg, and he died in the late 1960s.
On October 31, 1970, Donna was united in marriage to Donald Brumwell in Minneapolis. The couple lived in Wyoming for 20 years, in Arizona for four years, and following their retirement lived in Montana, Arizona and Minnesota. For the past year, they had lived in Mentor.
She enjoyed sewing.
Donna is survived by her husband, Donald Brumwell of Mentor; three sons, Dean Hedberg, Terry (Sharon) Hedberg and Kim (Kerl) Hedberg, all of Minneapolis; one daughter, Sherry (Neil) Branham of Anchorage, Alaska; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Kenneth (Sandra) Lee and Bob (Mary) Lee, both of Grantsburg, Wisc.; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Stanley.
